Stuart Salon (formerly Organic Salon of Stuart) provides natural alternatives to commonly used toxic chemical services in most hair salons. We are a collection of artists dedicated to providing each client with a personalized experience and a look that fits their individual self-expression while maintaining a safe non-toxic environment for everyone. We specialize in a wide variety of services using a unique collection of products that hold the highest standards in our industry.

The US has not passed a law regulating personal care products since 1938. Since then, more than 80,000 chemicals have been introduced into products on store shelves. Only 10% of these have been tested for human safety. The FDA allows chemicals known to cause cancer including parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, lead and more to be used in products we use on ourselves and our families each day. The very product that is intended to “clean” or “beautify” can make you toxic and actually harm your health.
In our modern-day world we are exposed to a variety of different chemicals and environmental toxins which may have negative health outcomes. Women have much more exposure to these chemicals because they are found in our beauty and personal care products which we use on a daily basis. Every day women use an average of 12 personal care products that contain 168 different chemicals. Men use about 6 personal care products that contain 85 different chemicals. This is why clean beauty is so important.
Although an individual beauty product may have small amounts of harmful chemicals, our overall exposure and the combination of different chemicals is what causes problems. More research is showing that the chemicals in these products can affect our hormones, our fertility, and the health of our babies. As women, this topic is something we need to be educated on, so we can make informed choices about what we put on our skin.

Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
